About Holdfast Bay BBQ Facilities

City of Holdfast Bay has free BBQ facilities at Wigley Reserve, Seaforth Park, John Miller Reserve, Sutherland Reserve, Wattle Reserve, and throughout the Seacliff and Kingston Park foreshore areas. Council maintains and cleans all BBQ facilities.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Holdfast Bay?

<p>Portable BBQs permitted subject to fire restrictions.</p><p>During <strong>Total Fire Ban days</strong>, only gas/electric BBQs are permitted.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>Private events and weddings <strong>do not require formal approval</strong> as all reserves are public spaces with no hire fees.</p><p>You <strong>cannot secure exclusive use</strong> of any space or facility.</p><p>For larger events requiring infrastructure, apply through the Event Application process.</p>

<p>For urgent or dangerous issues (including after hours), call <strong>8229 9999</strong>.</p><p>Use the <strong>My Holdfast App</strong> for quick reporting with photo capability.</p>
